6 Tips On How To Build Long and Massive Biceps

Big biceps is the most desired muscle among male population. And, although most of them would deny it, biceps is a great magnet attracting women of any age. Despite a number of muscles with much bigger contribution to your overall strength, massive biceps is a strength “visual” synonymous. It is important to develop accurate size of the biceps as it can decide on your upper body’s proportion. There are various exercises which help you build your giant bi, but in today’s article I will focus more on tips how to make your biceps look long and massive at the same time. There is a significant number of gym-users who complain about their arm muscles. And they do not complain about its size! They are not happy with its shape…Very often biceps is big but short. How to make it look longer and bigger?

  1. Consider your biceps work-out frequency. I know a few guys, who focus on shaping their biceps, therefore train them every two days, sometimes everyday. It is a big mistake! As every muscle your bi needs a rest as well. Remember that it is used in compound exercises so there is no need for extra biceps-sessions and one training a week for this muscle is enough.
  2. Full range of motion - you need to start your single repetition with your arm extended. It will make your arm more prone to injuries. So what you can do, is to start with a smaller weight and increase the weight after some time.
  3. Perform exercise for both biceps heads! That’s the only way to make your biceps look massive.
  4. Lean your back against a wall. That will protect you from cheating and add the quality to every rep you perform.
  5. When using the barbell try to keep your elbows close to your body and place your hands on the bar wider than your shoulders. It will help you to develop long muscle.
  6. Focus on building your forearms as well. Nicely developed forearms will add a value to the look of your biceps.

    Think you got it right. People want to have nice arms but no one care doing proper exercises. It would be useful to add preacher curl exercises. It really prevents you from cheating and forces biceps stretching. Nice job.

    Hi there. I think it’s better to use dumbbells for each arm as it forces you to put the same effort for both. If you a right-hander nayurally your right hand is stronger and when using barbell, right hand helps left hand lifting the weifht. This way your left hand is kept weaker = your left biceps is smaller than the right one.
