Benefits of exercise are obvious for most of us. Surprisingly it does not lead to incensement in number of active people. Knowledge about physical activity benefits has no influence on our lifestyles. Long work hours forced us to scrap exercises from our day plan. We try to save some energy for work, family and entertainment and think about our health only when ambulance is taking us into a hospital after a stroke or a heart attack.
Everyone knows that activity can save us from chronic diseases, but not everyone knows that it can make your day-to-day life far easier. In this article I will focus on not-so-obvious benefits of exercise. Hopefully it will be a good advertisement for activity and give you few more reasons to go out and jog (and save your heart at a same time).
Activity will bring more oxygen to your tissues and make your heart and lungs work more efficiently. What does it mean to you? Well, you will feel like you have more energy to deal with all your day (and night) duties. For example, exercising during your lunch break will make rest of your office day easier, as your brain will work more efficiently. It will be easier to focus on pending tasks and shorter time will be needed to sort them out.
It is very important for you to sleep 7-9 hours a day, but very often you struggle to get it. Not because of lack of time but because your body does not cooperate with you. Physical activity will help you to fall asleep faster (as it calming you down, especially after stressful day). Your sleep will be deep so there will be an increase in its quality. Thanks to this, next day you will be able to concentrate on upcoming tasks. Your rested body will be more active and your dynamic attitude will be recognised among friends and work mates.
And now the spicy one! Yes, training will boost your sexual life. Not only you will be fitter to perform it in different exotic configurations but also your sex-drive will improve massively. Do I have to add anything?
What is really important, a regular physical activity will improve your mood. It is proved that exercising makes you happier, and it is due to brain chemicals.
Allowing 30-60 minutes for exercising every day is the best time investment ever. You get a massive life quality and security improvement plus higher self-esteem. Most of successful people treat training as part of their life. That is one of the factors why they are successful. It is not easy to motivate yourself, especially if you are a coach potato and your remote controller is your favourite workout equipment.
